The below picture i didnot like and i think is not special enough to be chosen from thousand of entries they recieve......the reason i didnot like it .........first the subject is not clear......second the color composition is not real plus is not impressive for me ateast.......as mentioned by the photgrapher its macro photography ...which i believe is not .......

We were hiking in the Cerrillos Hills and it was very windy. Taking macro pictures is hard in the wind, since the plants move. These cacti were low to the ground, and their texture was so much of a contrast to the rest of the plant life, even in the harsh landscape of New Mexico. I decided to use the color accent mode on my Canon SD880, while taking the shot in macro mode. The contrast with the unfocused background made for an interesting shot.

I loved this one specially the subject and the frame with color composition..............and knowing how hard is to capture so much energy ....in so much style........

Caption: Andy is an Australian cowboy living and working on a 23,000-acre ranch in Alberta, Canada. He solely manages the property, on which he and his wife Luanne live with their two children. This shot is of Andy taking off at sunrise for a day's work with his Kelpie dogs. Kelpies are rare in Canada, but very common in Australia.
