Kali Mai, is a urdu word meaning Black Women. These African ladies are known by their baby push chair along with their colorful clothing (as compared to other women in Saudia who wear black gown outside). These ladies roam the streets of Jeddah in simple sleepers from one garbage Bin to another in search of stuff that can be recycled like soda cans e.t.c. Work hours for these ladies are very flexible mostly from 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM . These ladies are actually helping environment. i respect these ladies for their hardwork, Because they choose to work instead of begging( like some of their group).
Below the girl is playing and is in her own world, walking side by side with her mother, she will soon get a push chair of her own.
