Msjid-Ul-Haram, Makkah

My best friend Amir, was visiting Makkah from Riyadh so he asked me if i can come to Makkah as well, as its only at 45 mins drive from Jeddah, it was weekend plus its been a while since we have seen each other, so i agreed.

Keeping in mind that it could be a good opportunity to photograph, one of the oldest, Holiest and Beautiful place in the world. This Masjid(Mosque) is truely a work of art. In Islam Sculptures, Life drawing and paintings are not allowed, but still Saudi government managed to do a pretty good job here. This Structure has two parts infact three, One is Kaaba which is the Black Structure in the very centre said to be first built by Hazrat Adam (A.S)and then by Hazrat Abraham (A.S)and then by Prophet Mohammad(P.B.U.H), later on Maintenance is done every now and then, then the part of Mosque built by the Turks and then the outer side of Mosque built by the Saudis.

PLease note that the picture quality is not good as they are taken by mobile camera. Cameras are allowed in Haram Pak but smaller ones like mobile fone or Smart digiCam but not the big Professional ones like mine D60. So many thanks to LG mobile fone. You can Still Appreciate the artistic nature of the pictures :P

One of the 95 gates of the Masjid.

Kaaba, Muslim in the whole world face toward Kaaba while praying.

The Outer portion built by Saudi Government

The inner portion built by Turks Approx 100 years ago. I like this portion the best, although its not as beautiful as the outer latest circle but still the feel in this part is amazing.

Hilton in front of Masjid. One of the oldest and my most favourite building. I am so fascinated by the wooden balconies
